When it comes to picking a hotel to stay at during your vacation there are many different factors that come in to play. If you have kids, you want a hotel that is kid friendly and has convenient access to pools, food, and fun. If you are vacationing with a group of friends then you are probably looking for a place that is fun and has a lot going on all the time. Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando has the best of both worlds. Whether you’re with your family or friends this is a hotel made with everyone in mind.

The Rooms

The rooms at the Hard Rock Universal are amazing. They’re clean, hip, comfortable and just what you’d  want during a vacation at Universal. There are 650 rooms at the Hard Rock and each include modern amenities such as an MP3 docking station and iHome clock radio, HD flat panel TV, a mini refrigerator and more.hard rock universal hotel room pictures And for all those coffee drinkers, while staying at the Hard Rock Hotel you can enjoy a hot cup of coffee or tea with your in-room Keurig coffee maker. We enjoyed our coffee while sitting in these super comfy chairs enjoying the view from our room. The Hard Rock Universal has some great views and you can choose from a Garden view or even a pool view. It’s a relaxing way to start your day before heading out to the parks.

I also want to mention the bathroom which I loved. Not only is it very spacious, but there is a separate area with sink for getting ready. This makes is so much easier for families getting ready.

The Pool

The pool is a huge part of any vacation. Being able to swim and relax is one of the things that many people look forward to. And at the Hard Rock you will have plenty of room to do just that in the 12,000 square foot pool complete with a sand beach. Also available is two hot tubs, a sand volleyball court, interactive fountains, and play area just for the kids. And last but not least for all those thrill seekers, there is also a thrilling 260-foot pool slide.We spent a lot of time at the pool and it was one of the best parts about the hotel.

Fun At Hard Rock Hotel Universal

There is always something going on at the Hard Rock. Right when we got to the hotel there was a DJ playing old music videos that I hadn’t seen in 20 years. From that moment I knew it was going to be a great stay. But in addition to music there are also fun things to do around the hotel, such as this arcade that has a wide selection of games. This would be a video game’s favorite place.

The Gym

Now if you are like my husband, a good state of the art gym is a must when booking a hotel. He is very much into fitness and just because you’re on vacation doesn’t mean you have to get out of your routine. The Hard Rock body rock® fitness center features the latest in cardio fitness and circuit training equipment. There are also locker facilities. It’s open daily from 5 a.m to 10 p.m and is complimentary to hotel guests. After you get your workout in be sure to take advantage of the steam and sauna rooms!

Food & Treats

I hope you have come prepared to eat when you visit Universal Orlando! The entire property has some amazing selections in food and that includes the restaurants at Hard Rock Hotel. There are actually 4 different options when it comes to dining at The Hard Rock. The Palm is your more upscale restaurant where you will find elegant options such as steak and seafood. The kitchen is a more relaxed theme where you’ll find menu items such as burgers and American cuisine. At Velvet you can kick back with a cocktail and munch on appetizers. And last but not least, we all know that swimming works up an appetite and that’s when you’ll visit beach club. They have lighter options like pizza, salad and my recommendation nachos. And when your done with dinner be sure to stop by Emack & Bolio’s where they serve award winning ice-cream.

The Perks of Staying at Hard Rock Hotel Universal

Staying at The Hard Rock Universal is honestly a perk in itself but there are actually a lot more benefits than just having a fantastic room. For instance when you book a hotel at the Hard Rock Hotel Universal  you’ll get VIP perks such as:
