If you haven’t visited Universal Citywalk than you haven’t experienced Orlando. Citywalk is a place that has it all. Shopping, Entertainment, Dining and Fun. That’s just a taste of what you will experience at Citywalk in Universal Orlando Resort.

Restaurants at Universal CityWalk Orlando

So let’s talk restaurants first, shall we. CityWalk Orlando has an abundance of restaurants and food that will satisfy any kind of craving. I had a chance to “test” out a few of these restaurants during my recent visit to Orlando.  I have to say that they rank up there with probably some of the best food I have ever had. Some of the newest restaurants to Citywalk Orlando Include:

  • Vivo Italian Kitchen
  • Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food
  • Hot Dog Hall of Fame
  • Red Oven Pizza Bakery

Our first night in Orlando we dined at Antojitos and it was fabulous. Seriously, some of the best mexican food I have had. They have real authentic Mexican food. While you dine you can enjoy one of their many flavorful Margaritas and enjoy a Mariachi band that plays today’s hits. It’s an amazing place, and one that you should definitely put on your list of places to eat while at Universal Studios Orlando.

Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville at CityWalk Orlando

On our last night we decided to eat at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville. This place is FUN! There is so much activity going on. Whether your coming for the food or the Margaritas, you are going to have a blast. Don’t let the name fool you though, this is a great place to take families and the food is amazing. I highly recommend the Cheeseburger in Paradise.

Shopping at CityWalk Orlando

After your done eating, you’ll want to check out the shopping at Citywalk Orlando. There is no shortage of cool shops on CityWalk. You could spend hours just browsing around. Don’t worry men there are shops just for you too.  Shops like NBA, NASCAR & the Hard Rock Cafe. Here you  you will find official merchandise and game gear. You can also find official Universal shops to pick up souvenirs or things you may have not seen while at the parks.

Nightlife at CityWalk Orlando

One thing that CityWalk Orlando is known for is it’s Nightlife. There is always something going on at CityWalk, seven days a week. The great thing about CityWalk is that you don’t need a cab to get you to one place to another. If you’re staying on a Universal property like Cabana Bay Beach Resort you can take their hotel shuttles to and from the hotel at your leisure.

If the club scene is not your cup of tea there is lot’s of other entertainment options. You can enjoy entertainment such as the Universal Cineplex Theatres, which play all the newest movies. They also had special showings of the Live Rocky Horror Picture Show for Halloween during out trip.

In addition to the movies you can also play miniature golf at Hollywood Drive-In Mini-golf. This golf course has a horror and silly sci-fi theme. I didn’t get a chance to play at the golf course but it looks like a blast. And don’t forget about the very popular Blue Man Group show!

When you visit CityWalk Orlando you  want to be able to take in all that it has to offer. That’s why I would highly recommend taking at least a half of a day to visit. That way you can enjoy everything and not feel rushed. For more information on Universal CityWalk Orlando be sure to visit to https://www.universalorlando.com learn more.
