Brownie Recipe
There is nothing that I love more than whipping up a delicious brownie recipe from scratch. Well actually there is I love eating those delicious brownies more.  Up until a few years I whenever I wanted something sweet like brownies I would run to my nearest grocery store and snatch up a few boxes of mix. This was the closest I got to homemade because let’s face it, I’m no Martha Stewart.

But have you ever taken a look at the ingredients in those box of brownies? It’s full of things I’ve never even heard of. No THANKS! I’ll stick with basic ingredients for my brownies, like sugar, butter and flour.

Cooking things homemade is really not as hard as you might think. With the right recipe cooking things from scratch is really easy. And once you make something homemade and taste the difference, it’s really hard to go back to the box mix.

Delicious Brownie Recipe From Scratch

I’ve been making these homemade brownies for YEARS! They are really easy to make and only require a few more minutes of prep. If that. Here is the easiest and really most delicious brownies recipe from scratch that I have ever eaten.

Double the Recipe– This brownie recipe can easily be doubled. If you decide to make a double batch make sure you use a larger pan like a 9×13. You will also want to increase the cooking time for another 10-15 minutes. Just make sure to watch the brownies while they are cooking so they don’t burn.

Adding Nuts, Chocolate Chips and More!

The great thing about brownies is that they are so versatile. You can eat them plain or you can add just about anything to give them an extra kick. We sometimes will add different nuts like walnuts or pecans to our brownies. But you could also add extra chocolate chips, candy pieces or even something like mint. These brownies are also great for making a brownie fudge Sundae. Just make sure they are a little warm and add your vanilla ice-cream and fudge. HOLY MOLY they are so good.
