One of the best parts about going to Disney World is the food! And actually deciding and researching where we are going to eat during our time in the parks is one of my favorite parts about planning the trip. The great thing about Disney World is the vast amount of choices. There are so many different places to choose from and deciding on which restaurants are the best can be stressful. Over the next few months I will be featuring a series called Disney World Diningwhere we will feature a variety of Disney World restaurant reviews some of the best places to eat in Disney World. Hopefully this will help you decide on which dining options are best for your family. The first restaurant up is The Crystal Palace.
The Crystal Palace Disney World Dining
The Crystal Palace is an all you can eat buffet/family style character meal featuring the characters of Winnie The Pooh and friends. It’s located inside The Magic Kingdom on Mainstreet USA, which is very close to the entrance of the park. Prices range from $15-$29.99 for breakfast and $30-$59.99 for dinner/lunch. I will warn you that even though you have a reservation, be prepared to wait 20-45 minutes before you are seated at your table.
What Kind of Food Is there at The Crystal Palace
Although you will have a waiter/waitress to serve you your drinks, getting your food to and from the table is entirely up to you. The buffets at Disney World are super convenient especially after a long day at the park when all you want to do is sit down, eat and relax. Items you might find on the menu include carved flank steak for lunch and sirloin for dinner, plus oven-roasted chicken, Atlantic salmon, peel-and-eat shrimp, turkey, mashed potatoes, chicken nuggets and more. They have a special designated table just for kids that included kid friendly favorites like nuggets, mac and cheese and french fries.
Dessert at The Crystal Palace
And let’s not forget dessert which is one of the best parts about The Crystal Palace. You will definitely want to save some room because with options like warm bread pudding, key lime pie, coconut flan, chocolate cake, apple crisp and soft-serve ice cream. It’s too hard to say no. There is also a separate ice cream sundae bar loaded with all of your favorite toppings.
Throughout your meal characters will stop by your table to sign autograph books, take pictures and give out lot’s of hugs. During our time at The Crystal Palace we saw Winnie The Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger and Piglet. We really enjoyed The Crystal Palace especially the characters which was really the best part of the whole experience. If I had to give a rating for this restaurant I would give it 2 1/2 out of 4 stars.

Although it’s pretty easy to get a reservation at The Crystal Palace, prime times tend to go first so I would recommend booking your reservations at least 90 days in advance.
