I always love gearing up for Valentine’s Day with my kids because this means we get to come up with fun and sometimes funny valentines and treats to send to school. This year I have two kiddo’s in school so this means double the Valentine’s Day Cards and Treats. This past week Nestle sent me bunch of goodies and the kids and I have been coming up with fun ways to tell their friends just how much they mean to them.
Normally I take cupcakes to school functions because they are easy and let’s face it, what kid doesn’t love cupcakes. I whipped up a batch of my homemade funfetti cupcakes and got creative with some of the Nestle candies we had. With all of the Nestle and Wonka Valentine’s Day candies available you can easily turn something ordinary into a fun and festive treat.
I don’t know why, but I was looking at the cupcake with the Crunch heart on top and the light bulb went off…I’ve got a CRUNCH on you! These would make the perfect cupcakes to send to my kids Valentine’s Day parties. I made a little heart sign on my computer, printed it out, taped a toothpick to the back and stuck it into the middle of a cupcake. It is so easy, cute and both of my kids love it. We made both large and small cupcakes and the heart looks great on top of both of them.
To avoid over-spending on Valentine’s Day, moms choose Nestlé candy for some great Valentine’s Day treats all under $5. Already considered favorites by kids and moms (and returning again this year) are festive heart-themed treats: SweeTARTS Hearts, SweeTARTS Lollipops, Chocolate & Sugar Combo Exchange Bags, and Butterfinger & Crunch Hearts.
My kids love the NEW WONKA Fun Dip Mystery Flavor treats and will each be taking a set of these to pass out for all of their friends. These new Mystery Flavor Fun Dip treats are fun, easy and are sure to be the hit of the party.
