Jeremy is starting to get to an age where he wants to have his friends from school come over and play. Yesterday he got in the car all excited about having a sleepover with one of his good friends. I told him that the other boy had to ask his mom if it was alright and if she said yes, that he could come over this weekend. I can remember my mom letting me spend the night with kids from school in Elementary but honestly I am WAY to paranoid to let Jeremy stay over at someone’s house that I don’t know especially since he is so young.

Jeremy gave the little boy his phone number and told him to tell his mom to call me, but I tried to explain to Jeremy that if I am not going to let him spend the night at someone’s house then chances are most other parents feel the same way. So I would love to get your opinions on this subject. Am I being to paranoid and what age did you let your kids start spending the night at their friends houses.
