You may notice things are a little bit slower around here for the next week or so. That’s because my family and I are off to enjoy a nice relaxing vacation in Orlando. Well I don’t know how relaxing Disney World and Universal Studios will be but I know we are in for the time of our lives. The kids are soooo excited and can’t wait to get our vacation started. We will be staying at Global Resort Homes for the entire stay and I am excited to share with you guys my experience staying off of Disney property. This will be a first for me so I am looking forward to seeing just how different of an experience it will be.
We decided to tell the kids about our trip when we booked it and if I could do it all over again I would keep the secret until the night before. You might remember a couple of years ago me posting my Disney World Surprise Video if not, check it out below. It’s a little rough and in two different videos but it’s fun to watch their reactions at the end.

This was so much fun coming up with a way to surprise the kids that we were going to Disney World but it was really hard to keep the secret for 5 months. We had to do a lot of things in secret and they almost caught on a few times but we managed to keep it hush-hush until the night before our trip. This time around since we told them months before that we were going we had to hear almost every day “when are we going on our vacation”.
