My daughter has been collecting American Girl Dolls for a few years now. She LOVES them so much. In fact, every month or so she receives an American Girl doll magazine filled with all the new AG doll clothes accessories, etc. Last month she spotted the new Wellie Wishers and instantly fell in love with these adorable American Girl dolls. So you can probably imagine her excitement when a new Wellie Wishers doll arrived on our door step for her to review. We received Willa.
American Girl Wellie Wishers
There are a total of 5 Wellie Wishers dolls and each one is equally adorable. They are a group of sweet and silly girls who each have the same big, bright wish: to be a good friend. The Wellie Wishers include Camille, Emerson, Willa, Kendall, Ashlyn.
The Wellie Wishers are similar to American Girl Dolls but they are also very different. They are much smaller than traditional AG dolls but have the same adorable facial features and quality. These dolls are 14.5″ (36.8 cm) and the perfect size for younger girls.
Aubrey had a really hard time deciding which doll she loved the most but after careful consideration she decided to go with Willa. She loves Willa because loves animals just like her. Willa is also very much a tomboy and will be the first one up a tree to help a furry friend. She has hazel eyes and silky strawberry-blond hair in long pigtails that can be brushed and styled.
Her outfit includes:
- A hedgehog tee with a sweet printed face and dimensional ears
- A green hedgehog-print skirt trimmed in satin ribbon
- A cute headband with fabric bunny ears
- Light-pink underwear
- Red wellie boots with sweet ladybug faces
We are in love with the Wellie Wishers and think you will be too. I have a feeling that a lot of little girls are going to be requesting Wellie Wishers this upcoming Holiday season. Below is a video of Aubrey reviewing the new Willa Doll.
