Football and watching the Superbowl mean different things to different people. Some watch it for the excitement of the game, others watch it for the half time show. Me? I like the food and the commercials. Before the big game begins I will usually whip up a batch of finger foods that my family and I can enjoy while we watch this once a year event together and cheer on our favorite team. This year we will be whipping up a batch of Warm Spinach Bacon Cheese Dip. This dip is so easy to make and it tastes SO GOOD.
Warm Spinach Bacon Cheese Dip
What You Need
- 8 ounces Cream Cheese
- 2 Cups Sour Cream
- 1 1/2 Cups of Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 Cup Finely Chopped Spinach
- 6 Slices of Bacon, Cooked and Chopped
Instructions
Preheat Oven to 400 degrees. Next in a Large Mixing Bowl , combine the cream cheese, shredded cheese, sour cream, spinach and the bacon. Spoon the mixture into a 9 inch baking dish and place in the oven for around 25 minutes or until cheese starts to bubble. Serve immediately with chips, bread, crackers or veggies.
I’m telling you this warm spinach bacon cheese dip is so good and your family is going to go nuts for it. If you are having several people over to your game day celebration and plan to serve this dip, I would suggest making a double batch. It’s very quick so even if you run out of the warm spinach bacon cheese dip you can still whip up a batch in less than 30 minutes.
We served our dip with just some regular tortilla chips but this dip is versatile and will go with pretty much anything you can dip into it. For more game day recipes check out my recipe tab here.
