One thing I look forward to the movie during the summer is our family movie night. We try and have a movie night at least once a week during the school year but during the summer time it’s not unusual for our family to have 2 or 3 movie nights, especially if there is a great movie playing. One movie in particular that we are looking forward to watching together as a family is the upcoming Disney Channel original Teen Beach Movie. To help get my family prepared for our Beach themed Movie Night, Disney Channel sent my family and I a box of goodies filled with Teen Beach Movie themed products and gear to help us review and spread the word about this movie.
Teen Beach Movie will premiere on the Disney Channel July 19th at 8PM ET/PT. This looks like a really fun movie and is gear towards tweens between the ages of 6 and 11. Both of my kids love Austin and Ally so they are already both huge fans of Ross Lynch who stars in the movie. To help ease some of their excitement we have been playing around with some of the fun gear we received a couple of weeks ago. The masks and blow-up surf board are HUGE hits! We haven’t had a chance to take it to the pool yet but trust me, it will get there.
Teen Beach Movie” follows teen surfing sweethearts Brady and McKenzie who together ride the last wave of summer, one that mysteriously takes them into a classic beach party movie, “Wet Side Story.” There, it’s surfers versus bikers for control of the beach hangout…and everyone spontaneously breaks into song and dance. Now, Brady and McKenzie must try to return to present day, but their lives may be changed forever when they inadvertently alter the movie’s romantic storyline when handsome surfer Tanner falls for McKenzie and biker girl Lela starts swooning for Brady.
