With so many toys out there that require batteries, it’s nice to go back to the basics and allow your child’s imagination to do all the work. That’s one of the reasons why I like Tinkertoys so much, a child can play something new each time they open the box. The Tinkertoy Vehicles Building Set is designed to encourage young builders to play and learn. Builders ages 3+ can create a truck, sailboat, helicopter and other familiar vehicles that move or let their imagination travel to create customary ones! The colorful guide provides a variety of ideas for all building skill levels. The newly redesigned Tinkertoy pieces snap together and stay together for long-lasting play. You’ll find the nostalgic Tinkertoy pieces you remember, plus unique parts such as bendable rods, wheels, propeller, and eyes so your child can add personality to their creations along with an adorable buildable figure to encourage imaginative role play.

The Tinkertoy Vehicles set includes 78 durable, plastic pieces including spools, straight rods, bendable rods, wheel, propeller, a buildable figure and more! Comes in a durable box with lid for easy storage and portability. Not only does my preschooler Aubrey love playing with the Tinkertoys but so does my 3rd grader. I was amazed at what types of creations these two could come up with, with only 78 pieces. This is a great starter set and can easily be added to with other Tinkertoy sets. I also like that these sets include instructions to help you make sets when your little one needs help. You can purchase this tinkertoy set in stores or online for around $27.99.

* I recieved a sample set of Tinkertoys in order to faciliate my review. All opinions expressed are my own.
