Every year I am always stuck buying the gift for the person that has everything or is super hard to buy for but this year I am in the luck with the California Wine Club. I am very excited to get the chance to check out the California Wine Club during the next two months. At the start of November I was sent two different bottles of wine from the Robledo Family Winery to try out for this month. These bottles included 2008 Sauvignon Blanc, a White Wine from Lake County and 2009 Tempranillo, a Red Wine from Napa Valley. Now I will be honest, before this past year I wasn’t much of a wine drinker and I think this is partely because I had never actually tasted a good quality wine. These two were fantastic! Both were crisp and refreshing but my favorite of the two would have to be the white wine because I like the sweetness of it. Had I not had this membership to the California Wine Club I would have never had the chance to taste this particular brand of wine and that would have been a shame. I am very excited to see what wines I will get to try out in the future and I know if they are as good as these two I will be extremely happy.
