Last month when I was visiting Disneyland I got the chance to stay at the Disneyland Hotel overnight. The hotel was amazing, relaxing, convenient and everything you would look for in a hotel while on vacation. As you pull up to the hotel you are greeted by the friendly staff who welcome and help you get checked in fast. The lobby is beautiful and if you weren’t in the Disney spirit before you walked through the doors you definitely will be after. One of the first things that stood out to me where the seats in the lobby which are shaped like teacups reminding me of one of my favorite rides at Disneyland.
The luxurious rooms are all newly remodeled and sparkle with Disney magic and every inch of the room has something special. I felt like a princess when I walked through the doors and it was hard for me to put my things down because I didn’t want to mess anything up, it was perfect! My room had two queen sized beds and one of the most comfortable mattresses that I have slept on. The linens were clean, soft and I felt right at home as soon as I slipped into the bed. This particular room can sleep up to 5 guests very comfortably.
The back of the beds have a beautiful engraved picture of Disneyland, it was one of the first things that stood out in this room. Even though I was staying alone this trip, I couldn’t help but imagine how excited my kids would have been to see all these extra Disney details in the room. One of my favorites was the light next to the bed which played a soft lullaby of “When you Wish Upon a Star”, I swear a tear come to my eyes because it was so sweet. After you get in from the park, you can catch up on your latest shows on the flat screen TV that includes a great channel line-up like the Disney Channel and ESPN. If your like me and need to catch up on your work, the hotel offers complimentary wireless and wired internet.
The bathroom was spacious. It has two full size sinks, large mirror, shower with excellent water pressure and a seperate room with the toliet. At the sink were extra goodies like soap, lotion and shampoo just in case you forgot yours at home. The bathroom was spotless and very clean, I never once felt uncomfortable in any part of this room. As part of your stay the rooms also have complimentary comfy robes, which I didn’t get a chance to wear this time but hopefully on my next stay.
I absolutely LOVED my stay at the Disneyland Hotel! Everything you need to be comfortable is right here in this room. I also love the fact that while staying at this hotel you don’t need a vehicle because both parks, shopping, dinning and swimming are only a short walk away. Convenince would probably be one of my #1 reasons for choosing to stay here again at the Disneyland hotel. If your planning a visit to Disneyland or to the new Cars Land in Calif
