I’m a creature of habit. When I find something I like, I stick to it. However, this year I want to switch things up. I’ve had the same phone for going on 5 years now. It’s a great phone but every month when I get my bill, I think to myself there has got to cheaper way.  So this past week I headed to Walmart to check out the T-Mobile Simply Prepaid Plans. This plan is perfect for me because not only do I get an awesome service with unlimited talk and text plus 4G LTE. But now I only have to pay $40 a month for all of it! That’s about a $100 savings per month just by switching. no contract prepaid plan-t-mobile-samsung

No Contract Prepaid Plan

After I made the choice to switch to T-Mobile’s Awards winning service, now it was time to pick out a new phone. Walmart has some really fantastic phones to choose from when it comes to the Simply Prepaid service and the best part is they are fairly inexpensive. With the roll back prices I can try a new phone out and if I don’t like it, I’m not stuck with it for two years like with contract phones.

After looking through all of the different phones at Walmart, I ended up going with the Samsung Galaxy Avant. It’s similar to my old phone but it has a lot more features that I can use as well. Some of the Galaxy Avant features include

  • 4.5″ gHD Touchscreen
  • 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Processor
  • 5MP Camera
  • Email, Texting and Web Capability
  • LTE Capable

Let’s talk about the Camera

Let’s face it. Most of us use our phones for our everyday cameras. It’s just easier and more convenient to have a small phone for a camera verses a huge bulky camera you have to carry around. The Galaxy Avant has a rear-facing 5MP camera, which takes incredible pictures. In addition to taking normal pictures you can also get creative with features like Panorama, Sound in Shot or Auto Focus. There is also settings where you can adjust to your surroundings with settings like Night, Sport or Beauty Face. With these features you can capture and share all of your special moments anytime and anywhere.

As a mom, wife and blogger I use my phone for all sorts of things. I have to have a reliable phone that I will meet all of my needs and I get exactly that with the Galaxy Avant. I am able to connect with my friends and family on social media, take photos of my kids, pay bills online, schedule my week’s events on the calendar and so much more with this phone.

Why Did I wait so long to switch?

That’s a good question. I guess I just figured that because I paid so much money every month, it had to be the best service available. Well, that’s 100% wrong. After making the switch and trying out a new phone, I can honestly say that I was over paying. I am getting the same service, that I was before. The only difference is I am saving over $100 every month. People are often afraid to switch over from a contract to prepaid because some prepaid services  have slow data, a spotty network, and less of a selection of phones. However with Simply Prepaid™ you get 4G LTE data on T-Mobile. Now you don’t have to settle for second-rate prepaid wireless. Sign up for Simply Prepaid today and never worry about overages, credit check, or annual service contracts again.
