I posted this recipe last year but I thought it would be fun to post it again! Snow Ice Cream is REALLY easy to make and a lot of fun for kids who are getting stir crazy from being inside.
Here in Oklahoma we had a nice little winter weather storm over the past few days. Since we are pretty much stuck here at the house I had to think of a few things to do with the kids and that’s where the idea of making snow ice cream came into play. This recipe is SOOO super easy, my 5 year old and my 22 month old both got to help collect the snow for the ice cream and then make it! The above picture shows everything that you will need to make the ice cream.
Recipe for Snow Ice Cream:
8 cups of CLEAN snow
1 14oz can of sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla
Bowl and spoon 😉
Pour the condensed milk and the vanilla on top of the snow and mix well. I let the kids pour the ingredients in the bowl and mix it up.
After the were done mixing I mixed it one more time really good.
And that’s it!!! How easy is that.
You can add whatever toppings or flavors that you want. We just did plain vanilla with chocolate syrup.
ENJOY!
