A few years ago I had one of the most devastating things happen to me..my computer crashed. Every single picture, video and other important information saved onto the computer was GONE. At first I just figured it would cost a few hundred dollars to get everything back and then I was given the bad news that nothing could be retrieved. Almost every picture from my son’s first year of life including his 1st birthday were all gone. This was one of those life lessons that I had to learn the hard way, now I back up EVERYTHING!

With Christmas only a few weeks away, you can bet that my camera will be full to the maximum with lot’s of festive photos of my family. Seagatehelps me keep my mind at ease knowing that my pictures and videos will be protected if my computer is to ever crash again.

Seagate recently sent me FreeAgent Go 500GB Ultra-Portable Drive.

FreeAgent Go is the thinnest portable drive available and it is available in range capacities of 250GB to 1TB. It’s automatic backup software makes it easy to protect all of your data. I was sent the blue drive(which I love) but it also comes in Silver, Black and Red. The FreeAgent Go is great because you can back up your photos, music, and other files while being able to carry this data anywhere you like. The portable drive is ultra sleek and compact making it easy to carry around. I place mine in my fire-proof safe when I am not using it.

I was so impressed at how easy it was to set up and transfer all of my important information. It took me about 5 minutes from start to finish. All you have to do is insert the USB Cable into the portable Drive and your laptop or computer and setup automatically begins. I was amazed at how much space I still had left after I transfered everything to the FreeAgent Go.

We were sent a specially marked 500GB FreeAgent Gothat was preloaded with Star Trek and 20 other movies. When you register your Seagate Drive you are given a offer code for a free download of Star Trek(2009) which is a $14.99 Value. You can also purchase keys to unlock the other 20 preloaded movies which include: Ghost, Spiderwick Chronicles, G.I. Joe, Shooter, and many more.

The FreeAgent Go Ultra-Portable Drive is a great storage solution for all of your photo’s, music, movies and more. There is no price tag when it comes to your peace of mind, knowing that your pictures and other memories will be safe if your computer crashes like mine did. Don’t let that happen to you, trust me it still makes me sick to think about it.

Be sure to visit Seagate for more great products and gift ideas! They are having amazing sales just in time for Christmas.

Buy It: You can purchase the Seagate FreeAgent 500GB Go Ultra-Portable Drive preloaded with Paramount movies including Star Trek(2009) for Only $129.99!
