This past Christmas we got my son Jeremy a scooter as a gift. He loves his scooter and rides it around everywhere. Both of my kids make riding their scooters look so much fun and I have wanted to join in but unfortunately I don’t have a scooter and haven’t been able to find one that looks appealing to both kids and adults. That is until I laid my eyes on the Rockboard Scooter!
The Rockboard Scooter arrived to my house very quickly and came packaged in this gigantic box. I think my husband and I were more excited than the kids to open up the box because I immediately knew what it was just from reading the front.
I was very impressed with this scooter when I started to look at how well everything is put together. I have to admit that I have never ridden anything quite like this scooter before so I wasn’t sure what to expect but we couldn’t wait to get it outside and test it out.
My husband was happily the guinea pig and took this Rockboard for it’s first ride. To get the scooter going you basically rock the platform back and forth making this scooter go really fast.
If you don’t feel comfortable rocking the platform just yet or you want to try something different you can also ride this scooter just like a regular one with one foot on the platform and one foot on the ground, gliding yourself.
After I saw how much fun my hubby was having, I was ready to have my turn. I couldn’t believe how fast this scooter goes! It is so much fun and I had a hard time giving it back to my husband. It’s very easy to use even for the novice scooter rider like myself. This was a great family activity because Jeremy rode his scooter and Aubrey rode her 4-Wheeler while my husband and I were able to ride along with them. It was fantastic.
My son was also able to ride on the scooter but he is just a little bit too small for it just yet, maybe by next summer he will be big enough to ride it comfortably . Another thing I really liked about the Rockboard was how easy it is to put away or fold up and take with you to the park, beach or where ever you want to go, unlike a bike.
We are loving our new Rockboard and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have fun. I see this as an item that a lot of kids will be adding to their Christmas wish lists this year.
