As most of you know my husband visited Branson, MO about a week ago and had an absolute fantastic time! One of the high points of our vacation was the Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Museum. I have always been a fan of Ripley’s and I have watched many episodes of the Ripley’s believe it or Not show that was hosted by Dean Cain!
When I found out the Branson was home of one of the Ripley’s Museums I knew that this would be a great place to visit and beat the Missouri heat.
When you first see the Ripley’s museum you are wondering whether an earthquake just hit Branson and the Ripley’s building was the only one to be damaged! It is crazy and so awesome how this building looks. I took over 20 pictures of just the outside and the lobby of the Ripley’s Believe it Or Not Museum because I was so fascinated by the appearance.
You can purchase tickets right inside the Museum but if you go online and order them it will save you some money on each ticket. The employees were all very nice and helpful. I wanted to make sure that it was Ok to take pictures and the cashier was more happy to let me know that Ripley’s not only allows photos to be taken but they offer certain exhibits with photo opps which my husband and I had a lot of fun taking advantage of.
The museum is a self guided tour that took us a little over an hour to go all the way through. The building was not crowded at all we were able to really look at each exhibit and take our pictures.
The limo above is an actual limo that was used to transport people and yes that is a heart shaped jaccuzi in the back of the limo!
There are so many “freaky” exhibits and this one was one of my favorites! It’s a Genuine Ancestor Head from New Guinea. When my son saw this picture he kept asking me “Mom is that real”?
This picture above is of a shruken head….Is it Real or Not?? It looked pretty real to me! The picture below is a Fur Bearing Trout (VERY RARE) if it were real!
One of my favorite pictures that we took at Ripley’s was of the replica statue of the worlds tallest man. He looked so real and as you can see he was really tall! The shoe next to the statue was one of his shoes that he actually wore. CRAZY!
This is my husband staring up at the Tall Man Statue.
My husband and I had a great time at Ripley’s Believe it Or Not! Museum in Branson. The pictures above are only a few of the great exhibts and surprises that are on display at Ripley’s! We plan to visit Branson again in the next few months with the whole family and Ripley’s will definately be on the list of places to visit!
