Last year after months and months of planning and preparation my family and I headed off to one of the happiest places on Earth, Disney World. We had the most fantastic time and as soon as we got back home we wanted to start planning our next Disney Adventure. I never really thought about going to Disneyland, that is until I got the chance to experience Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park last week.

Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park have  been very hard at work over the past few years adding new attractions, rides and even a few new restaurants. But perhaps the most amazing new addition, in my opinion, is the new Cars Land which brings Radiator Springs to Life at California Adventure Park. Before you even reach the opening to Cars Land you are teased with a the spectacular view of the tips of the Ornamental Valley Mountain Range. As you walk into Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park it feels like you are actually transported right into the original Cars movie. It’s really quite spectacular and the look on not only the kids but the parents faces enjoying this new park addition said it all.

Cars Land features 3 incredibly fun rides which include Radiator Springs Racers, Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree and Luigi’s Flying Tires. While at the park with my #BraveCarsLandEvent blogging buddies I was able to ride Radiator Springs Racers, Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, Shop around in Surge’s Surplus Hut and even grab a bite to eat at Flo’s V8 Cafe’ (Don’t worry they serve more than oil!). Of course I had to take pictures of this beautiful place and  when I got home was shocked to see that I had taken over 200 photos while visiting Car’s Land. It seems like there every where you turn is a great place for a photo opp, even if you don’t want to bring your camera, Disney Photo Pass Photographers are on hand to make your life just a little bit easier.

At night Cars Land is a whole different experience! There are 16 brightly colored neon signs and luminous colors that light the way along Route 66, it’s beautiful.

As an adult I had a blast at Cars Land even without my kids, but I will say that the entire time I was there I kept saying to myself how much my kids would love this place. Cars was one of the very first movies that we took my son (who’s now 8) too see at the Movie theater. He loved it then and he still loves it now. It would be such a special memory for me to be able to experience Cars Land together as a family and visit this place that magically comes to life. You could easily spend hours, maybe even the whole day walking around the different shops, riding rides and taking in the sites. I think both of my kids favorite attraction would be Radiator Springs Racers, because it takes them through Ornament Valley while going super fast like Lightning McQueen. Hopefully before the year is up I’ll be able to plan out a vacation for my whole family to enjoy not only Cars Land but all the newest attractions at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park. Whether your 3 or 83 I think Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park is something that everyone will love.

Disclosure: My travel, Accommodations and activities were all provided during my stay at the #BraveCarsLandEvent. All opinions expressed are 100% honest and my own. Cars Land really does ROCK!
