Halloween is without a doubt one of my kids favorite times of the year. It has a lot to do with the fun, the parties and candy but I think more than anything they love being able to transform into something they have always wanted to be. My kids start planning out their costumes months in advance and every year they try to top the last. We have been receiving the Chasing Fireflies brochure for a few years now and just recently received the Halloween addition. My daughter Aubrey looked through it for hours and as soon as she spotted the Peachy Southern Belle costume, it was all over. That is exactly what she wanted to be.

You guys, the costume is ADORABLE! It’s exactly what we were hoping for when we ordered it. The dress is a shimmery peach with delicate lace and ruffly tiers that gives it lots of flounce. There is also a separate sash that ties into a big bow. To make the dress fluff out even more you can add the Girls Hoop Petticoat which goes underneath. This adds volume and makes the dress even cuter in my opinion. Aubrey is wearing one underneath her dress.
Now the dress alone would have been cute by itself but honestly I would highly recommend adding the accessories that go along with it. For instance if you just pick one accessory then you might want to go with the white lace fan or parasol. These are both super cute and make great props for photos.
There is also the Silver Pearl Necklace & Earrings Set. The necklace can be adjusted depending on your child’s size and the earrings are clip-on so even if your ears aren’t pieced they will still work.
And one of my daughter’s favorite accessories was the gloves. When you put these on she just giggled in excitement. There is something special about lace gloves and girls.
And to top this costume off you HAVE to get the Peachy Southern Girls Belle Hat. This is a large sun hat that compliments the costume and looks just like the hats that were worn back in the south many years ago. The hat also has peach lace around it which matches the dress.
This costume is a Chasing Fireflies exclusive so you will not find it in stores. If you’re looking for something unique and that stands out this is your costume. Aubrey can’t wait to wear her costume to all the Halloween parties and show it off to her friends. She’s counting down the days to Halloween for sure.
