The long anticipation of spring is finally over. And as we head into this fresh new season, we all take a moment to enjoy the weather and time with our families. If you’re anything like me I am a bit of a procrastinator and it makes life so much harder than it has to be. Hiland Dairy recently came out with a free weekly email series which gives tips with recipes and lifestyle tips to make life just a little bit easier. This includes a free weekly menu plan to help you save money and have your family eating healthier meals. You can sign up for these Free meal planning resources courtesy of Hiland Dairy.

Crockpot Overnight Oatmeal

If there is one tip that I can give to parents, or really anyone for that matter, it’s have a meal plan. Meal planning has become something that I live by. It not only saves me money but it has saved my sanity a few times as well. With a new baby and two older kids, I learned really quick that having a plan was crucial. Without a meal plan, life just becomes so much for stressful than it has to be. With a menu plan I can shop ahead of time and make sure that I have everything I need for my meal,  and know when I am going to make it.
