Winters here in Oklahoma can be pretty crazy and unpredictable. One day it can be 10 degrees and the next day 70 and sunny. In fact this week my daughter wore shorts 2 out of the 5 days to school, and the other 3 she was bundled up in jeans, a sweatshirt and coat. With our crazy weather patterns you definitely have to take advantage of the good days. It’s still possible to have outdoor family fun in the winter.
Bike Riding As a Family
One of my families favorite things to do together is ride bikes. Yes, even in the winter. When it’s nice enough outside to ride our bikes we don’t hesitate. It’s easy to stay inside and “hibernate” during the winter. But being cooped up inside can be hard, especially on kids. So why not take advantage of the break in cold and indoors and get outside with our family. Bike Riding as a family can be such a great bonding experience and it’s something that you can do no matter what season of the year. Of course when we are out on our biking adventures we love to pack a few bottles of Fruit Shoot to go along with us.
