Nestled on the banks of Lake Eufaula sits a place where families can go to relax and reconnect. It’s one of Oklahoma’s newest towns. Carlton Landing is a beautiful resort community that features all the amenities for a peaceful way of living.
The Homes At Carlton Landing
The homes at Carlton Landing range from cottage sized to massive family homes. We had the pleasure of staying in one of the cottages at Carlton Landing for a few days. The cottage was so inviting and from the moment we walked through the door, it was like a feeling of relaxation moved over me. Our cottage featured a large main room with living area, dining area and the fully functional kitchen.
Overlooking this main room is a loft that houses 2 twin sized beds. This was definitely the most exciting room of the house for my two kids who loved to climb up and down the ladder to get to their special place.
The next room of the cottage is the master bedroom which features a queen sized bed, two night stands, a dresser and mounted TV. There is also a closet for your clothes and a closet that houses a stackable washer and dryer.
The bathroom is also in the master bedroom. It’s super clean and a great place to freshen up after a long day.
One of the parts I loved the most about the cottage is that it is stocked with fun and relaxing activities for the entire family. Puzzles, games, books and even Lego’s. All activities that help you unplug and connect together as a family.
Amenities at Carlton Landing
The Boardwalk Pool
From a distance the outside of the pool reminded me of a beautiful church. But as you walk through the gates this area is a very simple yet beautiful place where families can come to unwind, relax and play together. There is lot’s of room to relax at the pool with plenty of lounge chairs to go around. There is also a picnic area with grill which makes a great place for family or community gatherings. And then there is the pool! My kids loved it, I loved it. If you want more of a warmer experience you can also sit back and relax in the hot tub.
The Boat Dock
Just a short walk down the main street in town is Carlton Landings Boat Dock. Here you can swim, fish, take a kayak out on the lake or just sit and relax. It’s one of our favorite parts of Carlton Landing and for good reason. This is the “fun hub” of Carlton Landing and you could quickly spend a good chunk of your time here at the dock, especially if you love the water like my family does.
The Farm
One of the most unique parts about Carlton Landing is the community farm. The farm features fresh grown fruits and vegetables and even free range eggs that are yours to keep. My family and I spent a lot of time at the farm just walking around and exploring. It’s filled with beautiful flowers and ponds and it’s truly an oasis.
My family and I all had an amazing experience at Carlton Landing and I can’t wait to go back. This is a place that is meant for families to connect and focus on the things that matter most. I could go on and on about how much we loved Carlton Landing, it’s really a fantastic place. After my trip I wasn’t surprised to see that I had taken nearly 150 pictures.
