This past week Aubrey started her first week of school. We have been working on getting her ready for Kindergarten all summer, so before school started we were asked to have a few of our friends over for a Barbie Dream house playdate! Aubrey and her friends love to play with Barbie toys like the Barbie Pop Out Camper, so I knew this would be a fun treat for them all.
The girls were all beyond excited when they walked through the door to find all the fun Barbie items just waiting to be played with. We had puzzles, coloring books, make-up, books, Barbie Styling Head and of course what kind of Barbie party would it be without Barbie and all of her friends.
But of course even with all the amazing toys filling the room, the girls couldn’t take their eyes off of the new Barbie Dream house. This Dream house features three amazing stories and even has an elevator that goes from the first floor all the way up to the third floor.
Barbie Dream House Features
The first floor of the dream house, houses the kitchen and dining room. In the kitchen Barbie can whip up her favorite meal with luxe stainless steel appliances, blender and light up oven. In the dining room, complete with chandeler, the dining room table goes from breakfast to dinner with just a little flip.
The Second Floor is where you will find Barbie’s spacious bedroom and bathroom. One of the things that the girls absolutely loved about the dream house was the realistic touches throughout the house. There are several places in the bathroom that are kid activated such as a light up mirror, “flushing toilet” and even someone singing in the shower. I think this was the button the girls pushed the most because they loved to hear the song and sing along.
The top floor is where all the fun happens! Upstairs the living room has a television that flips channels and a balcony that is big enough for several Barbie Dolls to fit onto.
In between playing with their new Barbie’s in the Barbie Dream house the girls played with the other Barbie toys. One of the favorites was the 12 Inch All Dolled Up Deluxe Styling Head. You can turn Barbie’s hair, face and nails colors by adding cold water to the different containers that come in the box. It was so cute seeing how serious these girls got when it came to dressing up Barbie.
After playing with all of the fun Barbie toys the girls enjoyed some pizza, soda and pink cupcakes! Each one of them left with several Barbie goodies and it was a great way to end the summer.
Below is a fun video of our party! I would love for you to check it out as it really shows all the features of the Barbie Dream house in action.
The girls all had a fantastic time and we have already started to plan our next Barbie™ playdate. For more information on Barbie’s new dream house you can visit the Barbie Dream house to learn more.
