Having long thick hair can sometimes be a huge pain. I would love to be one of those blessed people that have natural curly hair but unfortunately I am stuck with hair that has to be styled in order to look presentable.

I have always loved to curl my hair, but when you have thick hair this can be a very long process. When I curl my hair I just use your regular clip curling iron system and although this does the trick it often leaves a crease at the end of my curl. No matter how carefully I try I always seem to get this crease! Recently I was introduced to a new company called NuMe. As I looked through their products I noticed their curling wandsand the fact that they are clip free means no more ugly creases in your curls.

I was very excited to receive the newest NuMe Product the 4 Play Curling Wand which is actually 4 curling wands in one! The curling wand has the bottom base and then 4 different size wands so you can get different sizes of curls or styles.
I’ll be honest when I first received the curling wand I was a little intimidated. I have never used this type of styling tool so I wasn’t sure where to begin. There are instructions inside the box on how to set up your wand and even tips on how to get the style of curl you would like, this was very helpful. The Curling Wand is made up of Tourmaline-infused ceramic plates to prevent your hair from getting dry and damaged. With the clip free design you are able to get silky smooth curls without having to tug and pull at the iron which can cause breakage. The wands negative ion technology gets you that lasting look that you want, with this iron you can get perfect frizz free curls, a cascade of mermaid waves or just add volume to your hair without spending a fortune at the hairdresser.
There are four different interchangable barrels that range in sizes 19mm, 25mm, 32mm and reverse 9mm to 18mm. These four different barrel sizes gives you the ability to create a variety of curls. The curling wand heats up to 410 degrees FAST! Normally I have to wait between 3-5 minutes for my styling tools to heat up and this wand heated up in less than a minute.

My first attempt with the wand was not as successful as I would have hoped for but regardless I was able to get a few very pretty silky smooth curls.  The next time I used the wand went much better and the more I use the 4Play the more I get used to the clip free system. I think now that I have seen how much better my curls look with a clip free wand I won’t ever go back to my old curling iron again. I have also been able to make my hair do things I never thought possible. With the NuMe Curling Wand I was able to use the 25mm barrel and make these amazing waves that looked fantastic. If you have never tried a Curling wand before this is a product you have got to try out! It takes a couple of times to get the hang of it but the finished result is incredible.
