We live in a smaller town and don’t have many restaurants so when they opened up an IHOP less than 1 mile away from my home I was super excited. We often go to IHOP to take advantage of not only their delicious food but also their special offers like Kids Eat Free. The only issue I have when going to IHOP is whether I want breakfast or dinner. With the new hand-crafted Griddle Melts it’s almost like I can have both breakfast and dinner at the same time. We got a chance to taste this sandwiches are this past week and boy are they good!
There are three different variety of sandwiches including:
Spinach, Roasted Pepper & Cheese
Sauteed spinach in a fluffy egg omelet topped with roasted red peppers, onions, melted Provolone, Parmesan and Pepper Jack cheeses on a grilled artisan sourdough bread.
Western
Smoked ham and sauteed pepper and onions in a classic omelet, topped with sliced ham, melted American cheese and served on a grilled artisan sourdough bread.
Ham & Egg Melt
Sliced ham and melted Swiss and American cheeses over a fluffy egg omelet served on a grilled artisan sourdough bread.
All sandwiches are served with hash browns, french fries or fresh fruit. You can either order a whole sandwich or a half of a sandwich. We ordered the Ham & Egg Melt and got the whole sandwich. It was HUGE! In fact my husband ate the other half because there was no way I could have finished this whole thing.
