This is sponsored post brought to you by Outback Steakhouse. All opinions expressed are my own.

December has been a super busy month. Between gift shopping, holiday get-togethers and all of the normal daily activities in life, the last thing I want to do is slave away in the kitchen. So last night, I took a night off and headed to my favorite steakhouse. Outback Steakhouse that is.

Now during the holidays eating in a restaurant can mean waiting in a long line. Because let’s face it, people are busy and no one feels like cooking after a long day. But with Outback’s new Click Thru Seating waiting in line is a thing of the past. Click Thru Seating is available on Outback.com where you can access wait time information and have the ability to add your name to the wait list before you arrive.

Outback recently did a survey asking consumers across the country how long on average they had to wait to be seated while at a restaurant. The results came back to show that Americans have waited nearly 40 minutes to be seated at a restaurant, which is more time than it takes to cook and eat an entire meal.

We were able to take advantage of the Click-Thru seating and were seated almost instantly upon arriving at Outback Steakhouse. When you have young kids, this service is such a life-saver. Kids get restless so easily and having to wait 40 minutes just sometimes isn’t an option. Once we were seated I ordered my all time favorite appetizer, Aussie cheese fries. Because in my opinion ,it just wouldn’t be right to eat at Outback and not have a plate of these.

Since we saved so much time not having to wait, I decided to treat myself to one of Outback’s many holiday cocktails. This one is called the Aussie Rum Punch and it is GOOD. I highly recommend this drink especially if you like something a little more sweet.

Now you probably won’t believe this but within 20 minutes of walking into Outback Steakhouse this plate filled with yummy goodness was placed right in front of me. 20 minutes! You can trust me when I say I wasted no time digging in.

Be sure to treat yourself this Christmas and don’t get caught waiting anymore than you have to. Visit Outback.com/seating to view the current wait time at your local Outback, and put your name on the wait list to be seated now or later.  Spend less time waiting and more time eating and enjoying what matters the most.
