I received product and/or compensation for this review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Getting my kids to eat and drink the right kinds of foods each day can be a challenge. If they both could wake up everyday and eat nothing but junk food and soda, I am pretty sure I would hear no complaints. However that’s never going to happen, at least in my lifetime, so I try and look for ways that my kids can have something they like and I know that it’s good for them. MilkSplash is an innovative new product that has something both kids and parents alike can agree upon.

MilkSplash is a zero-calorie milk flavoring made for parents who want their kids to drink more milk and make healthier beverage options. MilkSplash comes in a variety of flavors including Strawberry, Chocolate, Cookies and Cream, Oranges and Cream and Banana. The characters on the front are super cute and one of the first things that my kids noticed when I showed them the MilkSplash bottles.

My son has always been a bit on the smaller side. He is the one that we struggle with the most when it comes to eating. Milk is one of his least favorite drinks so I decided to use him as my test subject when it came to testing out MilkSplash.

Each bottle of MilkSplash comes with about 24 servings and it only takes one squirt per 8 ounce glass of milk, more depending on how sweet you like your drink.

We tried both the chocolate and strawberry flavors and both were a hit. My son was excited to create his own signature flavor chocolate strawberry by mixing the two together. I normally drink my milk straight up. Not because I don’t like the flavoring but because I don’t need the extra calories that other milk flavorings carry. I LOVED the MilkSplash and was excited to finally be able to have strawberry milk again without feeling guilty.

So what did the kids think? The proof is in the bottom of the empty glass of milk! My son drank the entire cup and even asked for more when he was done.

You can now purchase MilkSplash in Target and this product will be hitting Walmart store shelves in mid-April so be sure to keep an eye out. I will definitely be purchasing more MilkSplash in the near future and I look forward to trying out the different flavors as well.
