Aladdin is one of those timeless animated films that many people hold dear to their hearts. It’s a film that many of us grew up watching and now that we have kids of our own they are getting to experience that same animated magic. Today Disney is releasing Aladdin from the vault and for a limited time you can get your own copy of Aladdin on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital copy. Not only will you get to see the film in it’s entirety but it will be so much better than those days of watching it on VHS. The quality, the sound, the bonus features. These are all things that will make you want to pick up a copy of your own.

I can remember the first time that I saw Aladdin. I was in the 6th grade and I was mesmerized by this unique and beautiful love story. Even though I was technically a teen, I would watch this movie over and over again and it quickly became one of my favorite Disney films of all time. The thing that I loved the most about Aladdin was the music. Of course if you’ve seen Aladdin you know it’s a mixture of dramatic songs, quirky songs, and of course beautiful love ballads. My favorite though (and I still love it to this day) is A Whole New World. This song was actually a huge hit on the radio sung by Peabo bryson & Regina Belle.

I have great clip that I wanted to share with you. It’s of Brad Kane discussing his experiences recording the memorable songs that we all know and love from Aladdin. Check it out.

A quirky fact that you may not know about me but one of my favorite Disney characters just so happens to be Raja. I have always loved tigers and Raja was such a loyal and lovable pet to Jasmine.

I’d love to hear what your special memories are surrounding Aladdin!

*I received an all expenses paid trip to LA to cover this event. All opinions expressed are my own.
