During the summer my family and I try to stay as active and busy as possible. Often times we end up at the park, zoo or playing at the water park. Most of the times we are either leaving around lunch time so it’s important to have something for my kids and I to eat that is quick, easy to make and portable.   chicken5

Sam’s Club is one of my favorite places to shop for lunch foods because  I can buy my kids favorite foods in bulk and it  will last me much longer. One food that I know I can never go wrong with is Tyson Chicken Fries. Both of my picky eaters love these Chicken Fries whether there for lunch, dinner or a quick chicken snack they always eat them right up. On our last trip to Sam’s Club we picked up a few things including a big bag of Chicken Fries. You can see my entire Shopping Trip from start to finish in my Google+ Album. Chicken Fries

I always try and think of creative ways to make lunch for my kids. The same food everyday and get boring so anytime I get the chance to jazz things up I do. This past week we decided to use our Chicken Fries and turn it into an easy meal on the go. What we came up with was a Chicken & Ranch Wrap. This is a really easy lunch and all you need is a tortilla or other type of wrap, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, ranch and Tyson Chicken Fries.

Spread the ranch onto the Tortilla, you can add as much or as little as you like. Next spread some of your favorite shredded cheese on top, sprinkle with chopped lettuce and tomatoes and add lot’s of Chicken Fries. Wrap this all up and your ready to go. When we take our wraps on the go, I wrap them up in foil or wax paper and they stay secured until we are ready to eat them.

After we made our wraps we decided to have an outside picnic and Aubrey couldn’t have been more happy. She loves these Chicken Fries and was really excited about being able to eat outside and not have to give up play time to come inside to eat.

The Chicken Fry Wrap was a HUGE hit with not only my kids but also my husband and I. This is definitely a meal that we will be making a lot over the summer. It really can’t get much easier and delicious than this.
