There are only a few more days left for 2012 and that has got me thinking about some of the resolutions that I would like to make for the New Year. This year was a pretty stressful one and somehow I managed to pack on an extra ten pounds. I can definitely notice the weight gain by not only seeing the numbers on the scale go up but my clothes are tighter. I know that in order to get rid of this extra weight I am going to have to get serious and make some lifestyle changes that include making better food choices, getting more exercise and drinking more water.

Alli Weight LossLosing weight can be a hard thing to do especially without support from others. Luckily Alli has put together an amazing program called Let’s Fight Holiday Fat. This program is completely free and includes some great tools, recipes and ideas to help you get rid of those unwanted pounds. In addition to helpful meal ideas this site also features step by step fitness videos, helpful advice and tips from experts and a place where you can track your daily food intake and activity levels. All of these tools will help you to meet your weight loss goal.

One of my biggest challenges when trying to cut calories is satisfying my sweet tooth. I love sweets and finding a snack that I won’t feel guilty about later, can be quite difficult. That’s one of the reasons I came up with a few guilt-free sweet snacks and I wanted to share one of my favorites with you.

Here’s what you need:
1 Caramel Quaker Oats Rice Cake
1 Tablespoon of Fat Free Cool Whip

You simply spread the cool whip on top of the rice cake and enjoy this less than 100 calorie snack that is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth. It has the perfect combination of crunchy, salty and sweet all rolled into one. If you want to add a little fruit you could slice up some bananas, strawberries, blueberries, etc. and make this snack even better.

If one of your resolutions this year is to lose weight or just lead a healthier lifestyle I would suggest visiting the Let’s Fight Holiday Fat website to get the resources you need to help you succeed.

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for alli. I received a promotional item as a thank-you for participating.
