LEGO Ant-Man Final Battle Set Review

My son is CRAZY about LEGO. From an early age he became collecting these tiny building blocks and over the years has acquired quite the collection. His favorite part about LEGO are the different sets and the excitement and fulfillment that you get when you have taken hundreds of LEGO pieces and created this awesome masterpiece.

During a recent press event for the new Marvel film Ant-Man I got a chance to interview some of the cast from the film including Ant-Man himself, Paul Rudd. He was about how he felt that he know had his own action figure and he response was that he was more excited about the LEGO® set! And he is not alone. When my son learned about the LEGO Ant-Man Final Battle Set, he immediately put that at the top of his LEGO must have list.

So you can probably tell just by looking at the box, but this LEGO set is pretty awesome. I mean it has a giant LEGO ant! With this set you can ride with Ant-Man on the giant flying ant which fire flick missiles on each wing. Then try to miss Yellowjacket’s stud shooters with the LEGO brick-built catapult. And then there is the Super Jumper!  There are 195 pieces total with this LEGO set.

Here’s what’s included in the LEGO Ant-Man Final Battle Set:

• 3 LEGO minifigures each with weapon and accessory elements. These include Ant-Man, Hank Pym and Yellowjacket
• Flying ant with foil-like wings, head with pincers to lift Yellowjacket and posable joints
• LEGO brick-built catapult with 2 nail elements and 2 miniature ant figures
• Yellowjacket’s 2 stud shooters
• Ant-Man’s Super Jumper
