This year there is one toy that out shines the others. The LeapTV which is one of this year’s hot holiday toys, is one that parents and kids will both love. This game system combines three things that kids need the most which are fun, fitness and learning. The LeapTV by LeapFrog is sure to be a hit among kids ages 3 to 8 and I should know because just last week I hosted a LeapTV party and the kids went crazy.
My daughter is 6 and invited some of her best friends over for a fun evening playdate. It was the perfect way to kick off the weekend and have a little fun. Since it was a party we served lot’s of food and drinks like chips, carrot sticks, juice boxes, cheese and crackers and fruit cups.
Once the girls arrived we set let them have a few snacks to get their energy up then we set the game system up. The girls were all so excited and I am sure the neighbors good hear all the squeals coming from these 4 little girls. Setting up the LeapTV gaming system was a breeze and only took a few minutes to get everything up and going. Next it was time to play.
Along with the LeapTV we also received two games which included the Sports and Dance & Learn. The girls, of course, wanted to test out the Dance & Learn first. This game focuses on teaching your child reading so you will find games that are focused on vocabulary, phonics, the alphabet and compound words.
In total there are 9 different games to keep your child moving and grooving all while learning and staying active.
Next up was the Sports game which got everyone’s attention. The controller acts as your pointer and allows you to do things like bowl, play baseball and more. This game also has a total of 9 games and teaches mathematics.
We had a fantastic time at the LeapTV party! The girls have already asked to come over again for playdate #2, which we are going to do before the holidays. As a mom I really appreciate toys like the LeapTV because it allows my children to have fun but also learn and be active at the same time.
