Before I had kids it was easy to eat healthy because I actually had time to plan, shop and cook a meal for myself. Now days, I just don’t have that luxury but I still want to eat foods that are loaded with fat. So what’s a busy mom to do? Well I’ll tell you what I do, I stock my freezer with ready made meals and snacks such as Lean Pockets Pretzel Bread sandwiches which make it not only extremely easy to make a meal for myself but I won’t feel guilty about how many calories it has.
The new Lean Pockets Pretzel Bread come in a variety of flavors, I purchased the Roasted Turkey with Bacon and Cheese and boy is it good. These lean pockets only contain 280 calories per sandwich and have 9g of fat. On the outside of this sandwich is a soft pretzel bread with a little bit of those big crunchy salt flakes that you find on pretzels. It’s not at all overwhelming but actually gives the sandwich an extra kick. The lean pocket is packed full of real low fat cheese, roasted turkey tenderloins with bacon and tomatoes. They are seriously amazing and one my new favorite lunch eats.
Many of us, including myself made New Years Resolutions to eat better and lose a few of those unwanted pounds. So far I have kept pretty on track but I still have a few more pounds to go. To bring a little entertainment and humor for those New Years Resolutions Lean Pockets debut their new interactive soap opera, As the Pocket Turns, where viewers can choose the ending. You can watch it below.
Lean Pockets also had a interesting graphic below with some statistics from a survey they commissioned on New Years Resolutions. You might be shocked at some of the numbers.
