Summer is one of the best times of the year. Many kids are out of school and spending as much time as they can outside having fun. This year we knew it was going to be a hot one so we decided to purchase season passes to our local water park. Needless to say we have spent a lot of time in the water this year and protecting my families skin from sun damage is a number one priority. Last year I was a Coppertone Mom and loved being apart of the program so I was more than happy to continue in the program this year. As welcome gift Coppertone sent me a variety of products for my family to use and for us to pass out to family and friends.
We have been using our Coppertone Sunscreen every time we go out in the sun and so far we have been a family with no sunburns and I’d like to keep it that way. Below are some sun care tips for you and your family.
Sun Care Tips:
Apply Sunscreen at least 15 minutes BEFORE going out into the sun. Don’t wait apply before you even leave the house.
Don’t get skimpy with the sunscreen! Apply liberally and evenly all over your body where the skin is exposed.
Reapply every two hours or sooner after swimming, sweating or towel drying.
Pay attention to the SPF and get the highest number you can preferably 50+.
If possible wear a large hat and sunglasses if you will be out in the sun for a long time.
