The theme song to Jessie is one that I know very well. You see, we’ve watched this very popular show on the Disney channel from the beginning. Both my kids and I were sad to hear that Jessie would be coming to an end but that sadness was quickly replaced with excitement with the news of Disney’s Bunk’d.
Bunk’d is a spin-off of Jessie and will star Karan Brar, Skai Jackson and Peyton List who are all returning as their characters Ravi, Zuri and Emma from Jessie. The storyline of Bunk’d centers around these three kids who leave their plush life in the penthouse for summer camp at Camp Kikiwaka. Along the way they met new friends, have new adventures and experience what it’s like to be at summer camp.
I got the chance to walk around the set of Bunk’d and meet some of the cast of the show and let me tell you, that I really think this show is going to be one of the best Disney shows yet. The story line is hilarious and something that all kids can relate too.
In addition to Karan Brar, Skai Jackson and Peyton List we also got to chat with Miranda May who plays Lou, Kevin G. Quinn who plays Xander, Nina Lu who plays Tiffany and Nathan Arenas who plays Jorge. All of these actors are simply incredible and they were so sweet to take time out of their busy schedules to chat with us about the show. All of them are super excited about the new show and can’t wait for everyone to see it.
Bunk’d will air on on the Disney Channel on July 31st right after the premiere of Disney’s Descendants (8:00pm ET). I really can’t wait for you guys to get a chance to see how talented these kids are. This is going to be a hit show so be sure to tune in.
