Aubrey recently added a new addition to her baby doll collection, the La NewBorn Real Girl Doll from JC Toys! This is no ordinary baby doll though it has amazingly realistic features just like a real newborn would. When the box arrived I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this doll. The pictures on the website just don’t do it justice because this baby looks like the real deal.
Aubrey was so excited to get to play with her “real baby”. Her new little girl came with a soft knitted outfit, booties and a cap. There is also a birth certificate inside that you can fill out. JC Toys have been making speciality dolls for over 30 years and you can see in the detail of the dolls why they have had such a longevity in the toy market. 
The details on this doll are amazing and as I was holding it I was reminded of that feeling that I had when I first held my my two kids. The doll is around the size of a real newborn and has all of the features a newborn baby would. As we undressed the doll my daughter immediately noticed all of the wrinkles and little chubby spots that were on the baby. The doll also has a life-like belly button and it’s also anatomically correct which I have to admit I had never seen in a doll before. I was curious to see if Aubrey would notice her “girl” parts but she was to focused on the everything else to really care.
The LaNewBorn Doll is fantastic and Aubrey has been playing with her since she arrived. I asked Aubrey what she wanted to name her new doll and without hesitation she said “Crystal.” I have no clue where she came up with this name but that’s what she has been calling her.
