I am not usually a fan of musicals but I really looked forward to seeing Into the Woods. Just by watching the trailers, you could tell that this was going to be a fantastic film. Plus have you seen the cast? Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp and Emily Blunt, just to name a few.

I unfortunately wasn’t able to see Into The Woods when it was in theaters. It came out around Christmas and I was super busy so getting to the movies was hard. Thankfully I didn’t have to wait long because Into the Woods released onto DVD, Blu-ray and Digital On Demand on March 24th. This is a great family movie and if you haven’t seen it yet, I will say it’s worth the wait. The visual effects are fantastic and like I mentioned above, this has a great cast. I love the fact that this movie weaves together several different fairy tales into one, but with a new twist. Overall, I was really impressed with this movie, musical and all! Makes me think maybe I should give musicals another chance.
