* I received sample products of PetArmor flea protection as part of my review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Whenever I come home after a bad day I can always count on my two four legged friends to greet me at the door with lot’s of love and affection. My dogs mean so much to not only me but my entire family and that’s one of the reasons that I try as best I can to help keep them both healthy and happy. March kicked off the start of flea and tick season and if you have pets you know how pesky these little bugs can be. Since both of my dogs are inside dogs it’s imperative that they have a good line of defense from fleas and ticks, but with two dogs this can get expensive.

PetArmor provides vet quality protection from fleas and ticks for dogs and cats for a fraction of the costs of other major brands. Plus what makes PetArmor even better is that is conveniently located at Walmart, Target and other major retailers nationwide so you can pick it up anytime unlike at the Vet’s office. A box of PetArmor will run you around $25 for a three-month’s supply

Below are a few of my favorite Flea and Tick Season Tips from Doc Halligan.

  • Whether or not your pet displays signs of flea infestation, it’s important to treat your pet with PetArmor to kill any existing fleas and prevent new ones from living on your furry friend.
  • The Most common sign of a flea infestation is scratching or flea dirt. Flea dirt is actually incompletely digested blood that female fleas excrete during feeding…YUCK!
  • If your pet has fleas or ticks be sure to not only treat your pet but also your home and yard.
  • Fleas are not only a pain but they can be harmful. Fleas can cause severe anemia, tapeworms and flea allergy dermatitis.

I treated my two dogs about a month ago with PetArmor and I have not seen one single flea on either of them! Last year we had fleas so bad and it was hard for me to stay on top of them so I will definitely be treated my dogs with PetArmor every month.
