My car is my baby. She was the first big thing that I bought for myself when I graduated nursing school. Actually my car was the biggest purchase I had ever made up to that date. I didn’t want a used car. I wanted a brand new vehicle that I would drive for years to come, and that’s exactly what happened.
This August my Toyota 4Runner will turn 9 years old. I can hardly believe it. It just seems like yesterday that we drove her off the lot. She’s been very good to us over the past 9 years and we have so many great memories in this car. Like driving my babies home from the hospital, taking our first road trip and dropping my kids off for their first day of school.
My car has always been dependable and I want to make sure that we keep it that way. Now that she is pushing 100,000 miles it’s more important than ever to make sure my car get’s the care it needs to go another 100,000. One of the most important things we do for our car is get it’s oil changed every 5,000 miles. I usually coordinate my oil change with my shopping trip to Walmart because they can change the oil in my car while I shop. It’s convenient and helps me save money too. You just drive your car around to the Walmart Automotive center and drop it off. They take care of the rest. You can usually get your oil changed in less time than it takes you to grocery shop. I also like to get my oil changed at Walmart because they carry Pennzoil. All Pennzoil products help clean out sludge lesser oils leave behind.
And since my vehicle has more than 75,000 miles on it I prefer to use the Pennzoil High Mileage Vehicle which is specifically designed for new or late model vehicles with over 75,000 miles. And it helps keep the engines running clean and going strong for a long time.
How Much Does An Oil Change Cost?
Want another reason to get your oil changed at Walmart with Pennzoil? From now through September 9th, Pennzoil oil changes will be on Rollback at Walmart ACC {Automotive Care Center} stores. The High Mileage, which I used is on rollback for $35.88, compared to the regular Walmart price of $39.88. {Industry standard price is $46}. And the Platinum Full Synthetic is marked down to $45.88, compared to the regular Walmart price of $49.88. {Industry standard price $66}. Take that extra money you saved and shop away!
