How Does Your Tween Inspire You

Being the mom of 3 kids can be both exhilarating and exhausting. I love each of my kids to pieces and even when things seem to be going crazy I wouldn’t trade these moments for anything. Being a mom is one of the greatest experiences I have ever had the pleasure of going through and I know that it can only get better from here. Out of my 3 kiddos, Aubrey my almost tween, is my only daughter. She holds and extra special place in my heart. We do all sorts of “girly” things together and it’s great to have those special moments between us.

How My Tween Inspires Me

Last year Aubrey started her first year of cheerleading. She loves cheering and of course I’m there at every game, cheering her on. It’s so exciting to me, as her mom, to be able to watch her passion for this sport grow with every game she goes to. Recently she decided that she wanted to grow even more and joined gymnastics to help with her back bends, flips and cart wheels. She’s only been doing this for about a month but I can see so much improvement already.

One thing that I make sure to always have on hand is a snack for her. Cheerleaders and gymnastics work all sorts of muscles and making sure that you have a big snack to help them power through it is very important. One snack that has quickly become a household favorite, especially with Aubrey, is Yoplait Go Big. This yogurt is quick and easy to eat at home or on the go. Plus it tastes great and it’s good for you!
