Before my kids entered school I felt like I was pretty good at time management and had everything under control. Of course this was before they entered the world of extracurricular activities and sports. My first encounter as a sports mom was when we signed my son up for soccer in kindergarten. I figured no biggie a few practices a week and weekend games was easy to handle. Well I couldn’t have been more wrong! The HomeTeam App is a great way for parents, players and even coaches to stay connected and updated. As a parent I love this app because I can track not only my son’s soccer team but also all the other sports he might play throughout the year as well as my daughters team. You can communicate with parents and players right from your iOS device even if your not at home. This is great for so many reasons especially for times like today when I am out shopping and need to get information about the latest game while I am not at home.

-You can view an all-in-one schedule of upcoming games for all of your kids teams.
-Automatically add new games to your device calendar or work calendar.
-View contact information for other team parents so that you can arrange get togethers or carpooling for the next game.
-Receive up to date information about the game from coaches and managers. This would be great for when a game is canceled or the time is changed. There is nothing worse than driving somewhere only to find out you didn’t need too.
-Automatically respond to emails or texts from other team parents or coaches.
But this app isn’t just made for parents it’s great for coaches too! With the HomeTeam App a coach can maintain the rosters for all of their teams, add a game to their calendar, send emails and text messages to parents and automatically compose and address the entire team with detailed information through email.
Overall this is a very convenient app for parents, coaches and players to save time and be more organized so they can stay focused on the game that they love. From now until December 31st you can download the HomeTeam app through iTunes for the introductory price of only $1.99. After this time the price will likely go up so I would definitely download now. I found this app to be a great organization skill even for the organizational challenged person like my self and it’s very simple to navigate.
