Holiday Baking is one of my favorite things to do during the month of December. There is just something about Christmas, Baking and Happiness that goes hand in hand. Every year I search through magazines, recipe books and online forums searching for fun and delicious recipes that I can not only make with my kids but will also taste great. Nestle makes it easy for busy parents like me to find the types of recipes they are looking for all in one convenient place.

Nestle sent me some really fun treats to share with my family so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to try out one of their holiday recipes. I loved the Chocolate Chip Cookie Sled recipe so we decided to make something very similar to this.

Ingredients:
•1 package (16.5 ounces) of NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar Dough or Sugar Cookie Dough
•1/3 cup of ready-to-use white frosting or Nestle Chocolate Candy
•20 (5 1/4-inch) WONKA SweeTart Candy Canes
•NESTLÉ and WONKA assorted Holiday Candy
•Edible white glitter (optional)

Instructions:
1. Cook your Cookies According to the package directions. We used Sugar Cookie Dough so before placing in the oven we cut the dough into 4×2 inch rectangles. You can also cook these as a whole bar and cut them after baking.

2. In the microwave slowly heat the chocolate candies until melted. We used the Butter-finger Bells but you can also use regular white frosting.

3. Add about a tablespoon of melted Chocolate to the back of the cookie. On top of the chocolate (or frosting) attach one candy cane to each side. Let stand for about 30 minutes until set.

4. After set, turn the cookie sleds over and fill the sled with candy. You can also sprinkle the edible glitter to the sled to look like snow.

These are super easy to make and there is plenty of room to add your own touch or creativity to the cookie.
