I’ll admit that I wasn’t much of a Lone Ranger fan before this movie was released. My dad was always into westerns and loved things shows like The Lone Ranger but I never really got into these types of shows. However as soon as I heard that Johnny Depp would be taking over the role of Tonto that was all it took. I couldn’t wait for The Lone Ranger to be released and now that it’s available on blu-ray and DVD combo pack I can get my Johnny fix anytime I like.
Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer star in The Lone Ranger, from Jerry Bruckheimer Films and Director Gore Verbinski. It’s a wild ride of high velocity action, explosions and gunfights that brings the famed masked legend to life through brand-new eyes. The Lone Ranger (Hammer), the last of his kind, teams with Tonto (Depp), a dark and mysterious vigilante, to seek vengeance after justice has failed them. It’s a runaway train of epic surprises, as these two unlikely heroes must learn to work together before the ultimate showdown between good and evil explodes.

Even if you weren’t previously a Lone Ranger fan, like myself, doesn’t mean that you won’t like this remake. It’s exciting, funny and best of all it has Johnny Depp in it. Seriously though the movie is great! It releases on Blu-ray and DVD today so be sure to add this movie to your next movie night.
