I  participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for  TruGreen. I received a promotional item as a thank you for  participating.

The topic of grass is a frequent subject between my husband and I. When we first moved into our home almost 12 years ago we didn’t pay much attention to the way our grass looked but rather how much grass and space we had. We live on about 3/4 of an acre and it can be quite a chore to mow, especially in the summer. A couple of years ago my husband was complaining about how he was having to mow more due to all of the weeds and crab grass so we decided to try and tackle the problem ourselves. This lead to yellow, patchy grass and more problems instead of resolutions. So we last year we decided to try out TruGreen Lawn Care Services and we have never looked back.

grassIn just a few months you could see a huge difference in the amount of weeds compared to before and our lawn was greener and healthier than ever. We even had a few of the neighbors stop by to compliment us on how good our yard was looking. We are outside a lot during the summer and it’s a great feeling to run around the back yard with the soft grass underneath your feet. Not to mention the pride when you drive up to your house knowing that you have one of the best looking lawns in the neighborhood.

Now that we are in the process of looking for a new home, curb appeal is a HUGE factor in our decision to stop and look at houses. The yard and lawn is one of the first things that you notice when you look at a home and it can really make a big difference in your first impression. The same goes for selling our home. I know that in order to get our house sold, we need to keep up with our lawn maintenance and keep our yard looking green and weed free. This means watering more often than I have been in the past.

TruGreen has come up with a great infographic on lawn care  and tips which I have featured below.

We have been really happy with the results of TruGreen and this is why I will continue to use them for our lawn care. The prices are very reasonable and the services can be customized for the type of lawn care that your home needs. For more information you can visit http://www.trugreen.com/.
