There is nothing more satisfying than hearing your kids squeal with excitement as you bring out the container of Halloween punch (AKA Witches Brew) that contains a bright green hand. This past weekend we had a Halloween party and with me being a little short on time and I needed to come with Halloween snacks quick and easy Halloween drink recipe ideas that would be tasty and easy at the same time.

witches brew punch

For the witches brew you only need a few things. A 2 Liter bottle of Orange Fanta Soda, which can be found at your local Walmart in the drink isle. A large non-latex glove, and green food coloring. That’s it!

To make the green hand you will need a few hours. Fill the glove up with luke warm water and then add about 8 drops of green food coloring. Next tie the glove and place in the freezer until it’s completely frozen. This will take at least a few hours. I would recommend making the hand the night before. Once your ready to serve remove the glove from the hand and place in a large glass or punch bowl.

Next you just add your Fanta soda right from the bottle and into the bowl and that’s it! The great thing about this punch is that it tastes great and it’s super simple to make. Plus as the hand starts to melt the green food coloring will mix with the soda and make a really gross color. The kids loved it.

Even if you are rushed on time and don’t want to make your own drink you can still “dress up” your Halloween drinks with some fun printable labels. We grabbed some 12 oz Dasani Water bottles from Walmart and made some really cute labels to wrap around them. You would be surprised at how much more water the kids drank when it’s labeled zombie virus.
