National Wear Red Day at Mimi’s Cafe is Friday February 1st, 2013. You may be asking why there is a day to wear red, well it’s for a good reason. February is National Heart Month and for the second year in a row Mimi’s Cafe is showing their support. This will be the second year that I have participated in this Wear Red Day. Last year my mom, sister and I all went to Mimi’s in our red outfits and had a great meal while doing our part to support such a great cause. This year we plan to do the same.
Mimi’s will recognize guests who show their support by wearing red with a FREE cup of signature soup. Throughout the month, guests that donate $1 will receive a red heart-shaped tribute card to inscribe and post on a giant in-restaurant red dress display. A limited-edition sparkle red dress lapel pin will be given to those giving a $5 donation. As a thank you for every donation, donors will receive up to $30 in Mimi’s savings. Every Tuesday throughout the month, Mimi’s will thank warm-hearted guests that donate with a warm cup of FREE soup. If you have never had Mimi’s soup, you are in for a treat. It is so filling and good especially when paired with the amazing bread basket that they bring to your table.
