Millions of Americans across the US are freezing their buns off right now, including me. It’s COLD outside and being cooped up in the house isn’t good for anyone so why not bundle the family up and go see a movie. There’s lot’s of great movies playing in theaters right now including Annie, Night At The Museum: Secret of The Tomb, The Hobbit and Paddington (which opens on Friday).
Go See A Movie
This past week it’s been blistering cold here in Oklahoma so my family and I made the most of it and headed to the movies. Since there are so many great flicks out right now it was hard to decide which movie to see so we ended up seeing two movies! My daughter and I have been really looking forward to seeing the third installment of Night At The Museum so this is the movie we chose. My husband and son were wanting a little more action so they headed to a different theatre to catch The Hobbit.
This was our first time splitting up to see different movies and it was actually a great idea. There are times when we all want to go see the same thing but since my kids are getting older, their tastes for movies are changing. Being able to go to the movies together but see different films is actually a great way for each of us parents to bond with individual children. Plus my kids loved having that one on one time with mom and dad.
Night At The Museum: Secret of the Tomb
I have really been looking forward to seeing Night At The Museum: Secret of the Tomb and I have to say I really loved it. There were definitely some bittersweet moments and I’ll admit I got choked up a time or two seeing Robin Williams in one of his last performances. He was such a great actor and is was sad to know that we will never be able to see him in another movie again.
Being apart of the Fandango Family hasĀ been really great for me because it’s given me the opportunity and excuse to go see more movies. But with so many great movies coming out in 2015 you really don’t need an excuse.
What movie are you most excited about seeing in 2015?
