I can remember my son’s first Christmas almost 6 years ago. My husband was so excited to buy Jeremy his first remote control toy. It was a ball type toy that made noises and went in circles with the push of a button. My son loved this toy so much and he played with it until the poor thing wore out. Now we know that we can never go wrong with a remote control toy!

We were recently sent the Road Ripper Classic Muscle 1971 Dodge Super Bee. Now I have to admit that I don’t know much about cars but this thing is AWESOME. My husband on the other hand new exactly  what kind of car this was and was just as excited as the kids were to test this hot rod out.

The 1971 Super Bee comes complete with a remote control and the classic car. The remote already has batteries( 3 AAA’s) and the Car does not. You will need for 4 AA for the car. The Super Bee plays the hit song shout and lights up with the push of a button on the remote.

Aubrey (my two year old) was so excited when we started playing with the remote control car and wanted a turn of her own. Now most remote control cars are difficult to handle and we have noticed over the past few years that if my son gets a car that’s to difficult to maneuver than it doesn’t get played with. This car is the total opposite. Neither of them had a problem turning the car in circles, playing the song and going back and forth, even my two year old. In fact she had so much fun that she really had a hard time giving anyone else a turn.

This was a BIG hit at house and I am actually planning on purchasing another one for Christmas so both of my kids will have one of their own.

Here is a video of the Road Rippers 71′ Dodge Super Bee in action. I wanted to capture everything on video like the lights and sound so we just made the car go in a circle. This car goes really fast even on carpet!

The Road Rippers R/C Motor Muscles Models include: 1967 Corvette Stingray, 1969 Dodge Daytona, 1971 Dodge Super Bee, 1970 GTO Judge. Each of these Classic Cars includes it’s own uniquely styled remote controller that incorporates design cues pulled from the actual vehicle. A popular classic tune from the same time period is contained in each controller.

If you have a child or husband that loves cars or remote control vehicles then this would make the PERFECT gift. The recommended age is 7+ but it is easy enough, in my opinion, for a younger child to handle well.

Buy It: The Road Rippers Motor Muscle Assortment is priced at $35 and available nationwide at retailers such as Walmart, ToysRus, Kmart, Target.

Disclosure: This is a non-paid post and all opinions are honest and based on my own experience. Thanks to the company and/or pr agency for providing me with a complimentary product to facilitate my review.
