MOANA was probably one of the most anticipated Disney movies for all the girls in my house since Frozen came out a few years ago. My daughter looked forward to the release of MOANA in theaters for months and when it finally released in theaters, you better believe she was there with popcorn in hand ready to see it. I wasn’t able to see the movie in theaters but that didn’t mean I couldn’t tell you all about this movie. My daughter told me everything about it. From the songs, to the storyline and everything in between. I knew this would be a Disney movie we would have to have on Blu-ray and DVD.
Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Moana, the sweeping story of a spirited teenager who sets sail on a daring adventure to save her people, starring newcomer Auli‘i Cravalho as the voice of brave and tenacious Moana and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (HBO’s “Ballers,” “Central Intelligence”) as the larger-than-life demigod Maui, has dazzled both critics and audiences. The film earned a 95% critics’ consensus on Rotten Tomatoes and the No. 1 spot at the domestic box office opening weekend. Now, “Moana” is available on Digital HD/3D and Disney Movies Anywhere (DMA), Blu-ray 3D™, Blu-ray, DVD and On-Demand.
I absolutely love Moana and thinks its a movie that the whole family will enjoy. It was released onto Blu-ray and DVD earlier this month so you can pick up your own copy in stores or online. Also I have some fun free Moana printable activity sheets below. Feel free to print these out and enjoy them along with the movie.
